After a delay due to very cold temperatures and snow, a third mailing of Initial Contact Letters went out on February 18, 2021.
There have been three mailings so far: on January 23 --24 letters on February 18 --54 letters on February 18 --54 letters
Thus, Initial Contact Letters have been now mailed out to 132 positive tipping point organizations and institutions.
As coordinator (at this point) for the Brainstorming Zero Carbon ASAP Project, I have no news to report about responses to the Initial Contact Letters. I have not received any emails, any Twitter tweets, or any other kind of communication in response to the Initial Contact Letters.
For people who are following this project, this lack of response is disappointing, but there is still much time ahead for people to understand the potential of this project, and make good use of it.
Keep in mind that this project is best carried out by a research university, and there may yet be something in the works, independent of my efforts.
The Initial Contact Letter, and some of the key documents at the CPCS Initiative website (www.cpcsi.org), can serve as background for other efforts which may go ahead, if this CPCS Initiative effort does not gain traction.
Best Wishes to All,
